About

Ruth E. Holleran told improvised bedtime stories to her little sister and then to her own six classically home-educated children.
She’s written songs, stories, and humorous Christmas letters in blank iambic pentameter. She’s penned articles for the Classical Conversations Writer’s Circle, and self-published an album of Scripture set to music, To This Generation, carried by Doorposts Publishing.
Now she crafts stories about teens on their own in an unfamiliar land, called to a quest they don’t understand, having to work through challenges while they learn who blocks them and who watches over them from the shadows.
When the Bible came alive for her in college, the love and truth of God changed everything and she enjoys exploring it all through art, music, and especially story.
She writes about culture through the lens of the epic story-behind-all-stories and enjoys drawing back the curtain to reveal the Author of life behind it all. Always moving, always curious, always learning and teaching, she’s been described as intense but never dull.
